Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate
Renewable Energy Engineer
to design, develop, and support renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, and energy storage systems. You will contribute to sustainable energy solutions and support the transition to a low-carbon future.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and evaluate renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind, energy storage)
* Conduct feasibility studies and energy yield assessments
* Prepare technical specifications, layouts, and reports
* Support project development, installation, and commissioning
* Analyse system performance and optimise efficiency
* Ensure compliance with grid codes, safety, and environmental regulations
* Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders
Requirements
* Degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering field
* 2+ years of experience in renewable energy projects
* Knowledge of solar PV, wind energy, or energy storage technologies
* Experience with engineering software and simulation tools
* Understanding of grid connection and energy regulations
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Professional English communication
Nice to Have
* Experience with
solar PV design tools
(PVsyst, AutoCAD)
* Knowledge of
wind resource assessment
software
* Experience in battery energy storage systems (BESS)
* Familiarity with EU energy standards and sustainability policies
* Chartered or working towards professional certification
