Overview
English Copywriter and Editor (12 months FTC) - The role is a hybrid, 12-month fixed-term contract based at Keywords International Limited HQ in South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.
Keywords is an international technical services provider to the global games industry, offering localisation, testing, audio, art creation and customer support in over 40 languages and 12 game platforms.
Responsibilities
* Content Maintenance: Actively manage and refresh content on the Self Help Portal to keep the community engaged and informed.
* Content Creation: Develop new articles that are informative and resonate with the playful and engaging tone of our games.
* Knowledge Articles: Ensure information is precise, accessible, and uniformly presented across all platforms.
* Template Creation: Develop and update FAQs and pre-written responses for customer service efficiency.
* Language & Structure Improvement: Serve as the team’s expert in English language and structural integrity of content; enhance clarity, flow, and engagement of text produced by the team.
* Content Management: Conduct regular reviews to ensure content accuracy and relevance; eradicate grammatical and spelling errors while refining overall structure.
* Team Collaboration and Support: Mentor team members to enhance their instructional writing and English language skills.
Qualifications
* English Language: Native-level proficiency (C2) with exceptional written and spoken abilities.
* Writing and Editing: Extensive experience in content creation with a portfolio showing a range of writing styles; advanced editing and proofreading skills.
* Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly across diverse audiences.
* Organizational Skills: Proven capability to manage documentation and track policy changes; proactive in task completion and system updates.
* Tool Knowledge: Proficiency with MS Excel/Google Sheets, MS Word/Google Docs; experience managing content in a Knowledge Base environment.
* Other: Quick learner; team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with a globally dispersed team.
