Electrical Engineer Position
The Electrical Engineer will provide technical leadership and hands-on expertise across the site's electrical domain. Key responsibilities include:
* Power Distribution Management: Oversee the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and future upgrading of site electrical systems.
* Automation & Control: Take ownership of the site's industrial automation systems, including PLC/HMI programming for both fault-finding and system optimisation.
* Capital Projects: Lead the electrical scope of capital expenditure projects, covering specification, design review, installation supervision, and final commissioning of new machinery and infrastructure.
* Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical work and installations comply with current Irish and EU electrical safety standards and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Engineering, and at least 3 years of post-graduate experience as an Electrical Engineer in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or process environment. The salary range is €50,000 - €60,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
