About Your New Job
As the Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and apprentices within the API business unit.
You will support both day-to-day engineering and long-term improvement projects, working alongside production, quality, and technical operations teams.
You will oversee equipment performance, coordinate with contract maintenance providers, and ensure the facility operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all policies.
You will be responsible for team development, budget management, successful audits, and implementation of equipment upgrades and process improvements.
What Skills You Need
Degree (Level 7 or above) in Engineering or a scientific area (Chemistry).
Minimum 6 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 2 years as an Engineering Supervisor.
Previous experience in an API manufacturing environment, especially within engineering.
Experience with glass lined vessels, reactors, pumps, heat exchangers, ATEX, and solvent handling.
Strong analytical and decision‑making skills; high attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
