Permanent Full Time 39 hours Contract
Stillorgan, Dublin
About the Role:
To organise home-based care delivered to clients and manage the performance of the Team Leader and Home Support Workers delivering that care, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained at all times.
What we're looking for:
A relevant Third Level Qualification (NFQ 8) in Health & Social Care (QQI) or equivalent third level qualification.
Management qualification is an advantage
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably in a Home-Based setting.
Demonstrable experience in managing and developing home-based care services, including oversight of day-to-day service delivery, effective management and support of Home Support Workers (HSWs), and coordination of community-based care supports
Your Responsibilities
Assist the Home Based service Manager and Community Home Support Manager (or their designee) in the operational management of home-based services, including CareLink and other related services within the assigned area, as appropriate.
Manage
'team' workforce planning activities
to include the sourcing, recruitment and induction of Team Leader and Home Support Workers (HSW) to the service, in accordance with RehabCare policy and procedure in order to respond effectively to the needs of home based service users in creating and maintaining a safe, caring and stable environment for all those in our care.
Manage
'team' workforce development activities
to include the provision/arrangement of training for Team Leader and HSWs as appropriate, the provision of supervision for team leaders and HSW's in accordance with RehabCare policy, and participating in any relevant staff development activities deemed necessary by relevant line manager, in order to ensure the workforce have the appropriate skills and competencies to respond effectively to the needs of home based service users.
