Who are we looking for?

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Company Secretarial professionals looking for the next step in their career. Carne is looking for a Company Secretarial Senior Manager to service Irish clients.

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?

* Bachelor's degree in law, business studies, accounting or similar training
* Minimum 8 years' experience in Financial Services/Funds Industry working in a Company Secretarial role.
* A sound knowledge of Irish fund industry (laws and regulations).
* Proven experience in team and people management.

What is your role and your responsibilities?

* Manage a varied portfolio of entities through the accurate preparation and issue of agendas, board papers and minutes for all board meetings.
* Build and manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders of Funds
* Follow up on any issues raised at Board Meetings coupled with regular interaction with clients in order to provide an update at the next meeting.
* Acting as a channel of communication for directors, clients and other stakeholders.
* Ensuring compliance with the Constitution and undertake regulatory filings.
* Reviewing developments in Corporate Governance and Company Law in order to advise and assist the directors with regard to their duties and responsibilities and compliance with their personal obligations under Company Law.
* Acting as a team lead and as a role model/mentor to the junior members of the Company Secretarial Team.
* Continuously assess and improve operational procedures and internal processes.
* Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the Company Secretarial function
* Other duties as required.

Consistently achieves objectives by maintaining focus, overcoming obstacles, exploring possibilities and ensuring outcomes are delivered to a high standard

Curiosity to learn and understand key factors, new techniques or technologies affecting their work.
