Senior Manager Role
Our organization is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to oversee the accounting of private markets fund structures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage accounting processes across fund structures, including private equity and partnership accounting, waterfalls, management fee and interest calculations.
2. Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements; coordinate audits with external auditors.
3. Support operational activities such as month-end close, expense analysis, reconciliations, and regulatory filings.
4. Partner with internal teams to address requests, investor inquiries, and cross-functional projects.
5. Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
Requirements:
* 6+ years experience within Fund/Investment Control, Fund Accounting or Middle Office, specifically for alternative funds.
* Experience working within Fund Administration or Investment Management is essential.
* Exposure to Private Markets or Private Equity funds is highly desirable.
* Experience and understanding of the oversight function including previous experience managing outsource service providers and fund administrators.
