EHS Specialist | MedTech | Co. MayoA well-established MedTech manufacturer in Co. Mayo is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to join their site team on a permanent basis. This is a broad, hands‑on role covering the full spectrum of EHS, from regulatory compliance and environmental management through to health & safety risk management and incident response.The RoleReporting into the site EHS function, the successful candidate will support the implementation and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and site programmes. Key areas of responsibility include:Ensuring compliance with national EHS regulations, corporate standards, and ISO-aligned management systemsManaging hazardous and non-hazardous waste programmes, including vendor oversightConducting risk assessments, GEMBA walks, internal audits, and EHS change management reviewsLeading or supporting incident investigations with robust root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementationCoordinating the Emergency Response Team programme, including drills and readinessMaintaining and reporting EHS KPIs and supporting cross‑functional improvement projectsWhat They’re Looking ForThird‑level qualification in EHS, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years' EHS experience in manufacturing or a similarly regulated environmentExperience with ISO 14001 and ISO 4501 highly desirableStrong communicator with the ability to influence at all levelsSelf‑motivated, able to manage competing priorities and work independentlyWhat’s On OfferPermanent contract with a stable, secure employerComprehensive benefits package including private medical insurance, company pension, and annual bonusCollaborative, dynamic working environment with access to state‑of‑the‑art facilities
