Applications are invited for the following position:
SENIOR PSYCHOLOGIST
East Limerick Children’s Services
Permanent Part-Time Contract (31.5 Hours Per Week)
Salary: €97,528-€114,638
* Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* A recognized university degree or diploma with first or second class honors in Psychology as a major subject, with honors obtained.
* A post-graduate professional qualification in psychology, recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
* At least 5 years post-graduate experience as a professional psychologist, with no more than three years spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification and at least two years full-time post-qualification experience.
* Knowledge and ability (including suitability and management skills) for the role, with experience working with children with intellectual disabilities, with or without autism, experiencing mental health difficulties or behaviors of concern.
* Applicants with qualifications obtained outside Ireland must provide validation from the Department of Health.
Additional Requirements
Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioral competencies of the Avista competency framework, which can be found on the last page of the Job Description.
About the Role
As a Senior Psychologist, you will join the East Limerick Children’s Disability team (0-18 years) and collaborate with a motivated interdisciplinary team.
