Overview
Ensure compliance with and implementation of customer-specific work processes and procedures. Responsible for the effective co-ordination, progress chasing and management of all required communications specific to the day-to-day import/export of shipments, in line with customer requirements and contractual agreements in place.
Responsibilities
* Entry of shipments and processing of import - export orders
* Supporting and advising the customers and agents
* Preparation and monitoring of quotation offers
* Ensuring and processing billing to customers
* Processing of special orders, as well as complaints
* Preparation of delivery dockets, customs documents, etc.
* Monitoring appointments
* Documentation and optimization of workflows
* Support of supervisors in projects
* Documentation and filing of files
* Performing general administrative tasks
* Execute all Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations (as applicable).
Qualifications
* Completed training in freight forwarding
* Completed training and professional courses in the field of export, DG (Dangerous Goods)
* Professional experience in the commercial area of air freight Imp – Exp.
