Key Role of the Financial Controller
The Financial Controller plays a pivotal part in the senior management team, collaborating closely with the Group Finance Director and other senior managers to determine the strategic direction for the finance function and deliver its objectives.
* Oversee month-end reporting, ensuring accurate accounts, reconciliations, and results
* Provide insightful financial analysis, including budget-vs-actual commentary and cash-flow management
* Drive forecasting, business planning, and continuous process improvements
* Manage and develop a high-performing finance team while coordinating audits and ad hoc financial projects
The ideal candidate will possess ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualifications, a minimum of 6 years PQE industry experience, and strong IFRS and US GAAP expertise. They will also have at least 3 years prior people management experience and a keen analytical mind who views the finance function as a key strategic enabler to support better business outcomes and commercial decision-making.
