Quality Manager – Laboratory Services
A leading provider of food and environmental testing is seeking a
Quality Manager
to oversee its Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and INAB requirements. Reporting to the CEO, this role is central to maintaining accreditation, driving continuous improvement, and supporting strategic decision‑making across the site.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, maintain, and improve the QMS in line with regulatory and accreditation standards
* Manage internal/external audits, document control, CAPA, and quality metrics
* Oversee quality aspects of laboratory operations, including SOPs, method validation, training, and proficiency testing
* Act as the primary quality contact for clients, auditors, and regulatory bodies
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance turnaround times, service quality, and operational efficiency
* Contribute to site leadership, supporting strategy, communication, and team development
What You Bring
* Degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related field (Master's an advantage)
* 5+ years' experience in laboratory quality assurance, including leadership responsibility
* Strong knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, INAB, and relevant regulatory frameworks
* Experience in food or environmental testing preferred
* Excellent audit management, problem‑solving, communication, and organisational skills
