Senior Legal Counsel – In-House | Dublin (Hybrid)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a growing Irish-headquartered PLC with expanding international operations. This position offers broad exposure across the business and the chance to play a key role in supporting strategic growth initiatives across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, this role will partner closely with senior business leaders on a diverse range of legal and commercial matters. It’s a great fit for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys influencing decision-making at a strategic level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead complex legal and commercial projects, engaging cross-functional stakeholders to deliver practical, business-focused outcomes.
* Provide legal advice and negotiate a broad range of high-value commercial contracts supporting business growth and compliance.
* Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, documentation, and integration.
* Contribute to the implementation of group-wide systems and frameworks to streamline legal and contracting processes.
* Manage external counsel relationships efficiently and cost-effectively.
* Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to developing best practice across the legal function.
About You:
* Qualified solicitor (Ireland) with 6+ years’ PQE, ideally with experience gained in both private practice and in-house.
* Proven background in commercial contracts and corporate transactions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance legal risk with business priorities.
* Flexible, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
