Overview of Role
IT Resourcing at Ergo, are looking for an Onsite IT Support Engineer for a large public sector client based in Dublin 2. This role would be part of a Helpdesk team which supports over 1,000 staff from sites around the country.
What will you do?
* Act as first point of contact for ICT support via phone and email
* Provide second-level support remotely or on-site across Department locations
* Deliver desk-side assistance in Dublin offices when needed
* Escalate complex issues to senior support or service providers
* Set up and configure hardware, mobile devices, and software
* Brief users on using laptops, tablets, and phones
What do you need?
* At least 1 year of experience in a similar helpdesk/service desk role
* Excellent communication skills and experience in supporting end users over email, phone and remote desktop
* Ability to work onsite every day in Dublin 2
* Familiarity with ticketing systems
* Proficiency in M365 and Windows support along with iOS/Android device setup experience.
