We are seeking a highly skilled Lean Leader - Master Black Belt to join our engineering and process equipment manufacturing team in North Cork. As part of this role, you will lead high-impact projects to implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies and streamline processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Execute Lean Six Sigma projects to improve processes efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product and service quality.
* Process Improvement: Conduct thorough assessments of current processes and identify areas for improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
* Training & Mentoring: Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to teams on Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
* Data Analysis: Utilize statistical tools and data analysis techniques to quantify problems, validate improvements, and monitor performance metrics.
* Reporting & Documentation: Develop and present detailed reports on project progress, results, and recommendations.
This position requires a background in highly regulated environments and low-volume production/manufacturing technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with bespoke equipment solutions for the process/chemical industries.
Requirements:
* Lean Six Sigma Certification: Certified Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma (LSSBB) is mandatory.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Lean Six Sigma tools, process mapping software, and statistical analysis tools.
* Industry Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a Lean Six Sigma practitioner in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* Fluency in English.
