Full job description Reporting to the General Manager we are seeking a Sales and Marketing professional with hospitality experience to join the hotel commercial team.
Working closely with the revenue manager, meeting and events and senior management to optimise sales opportunity at the property, the sales and marketing manager will take ownership of: Develop an annual sales and marketing strategy.
The strategy should be action led, leveraging online and offline channels.
Design and implementation of creative seasonal campaigns taking a multi channel approach.
Audience and segment identification.
Increase brand awareness of the rejuvenated Abbey Court Hotel, highlighting recent improvements made to the product.
B2 B proactive sales within the corporate market and with tour operators and special interest groups.
Understanding of the hotel technological structure.
PMS, RMS, CRM, AI interface, GDS and booking engine.
Benchmarking and monitoring the hotel competitive set Collaboration with internal stakeholders, reporting on sales and marketing progress and metrics on a monthly basis.
Management of the hotel website content, assets, organic and paid campaigns.
Ensuring website updates and development are optimised, creating experiences, campaigns, image/video content and ensuring maximum functionality.
Management of third party relationships with the hotel booking engine and online travel agents.
Establish the Sales & Marketing budget, for review by the general manager.
Leverage industry relationships with Filte Ireland and Tourism Ireland.
Responsible and accountable for actioning the hotels overall marketing, PR and social media plans while liaising and collaborating with internal & external stakeholders.
Local community outreach - manage sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
Work with Senior Management to assist in supporting the Hotel to achieve awards and accolades.
Meet the required revenue targets with the aim to exceed them as set out by GM.
Contribute and work with the GM & any identified external experts to ensure the brand continues to be developed.
Work with key stakeholders within the Company on their Sales & Marketing requirements and rolling out agreed strategies in agreed timelines Customer relationship management and new business development via productive and targets sales and marketing strategies and activities The ideal candidate will be a pro-active person with a proven track record in achieving sales targets, managing a team within sales and working with revenue and reservations.
