The Role of a Junior Engineer in Construction Management
We are currently recruiting for a Graduate / Junior Engineer position on a Building Project Residential Project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting out and checking works as required for the project.
Liaising with sub-contractors and personnel on site is crucial in the planning and construction of the project. You will also support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager & Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
Excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel are essential. A Degree in Engineering or related discipline is required, along with minimum of 1 place years placement experience in an engineering role.
You must be able to use setting out instruments and be competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination. Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative are vital.
A thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint is also necessary.

Requirements:
* DEGREE IN ENGINEERING OR RELATED DISCIPLINE
* MINIMUM OF 1 PLACE YEARS PLACEMENT EXPERIENCE IN AN ENGINEERING ROLE
* ABILITY TO USE SETTING OUT INSTRUMENTS
* COMPETENT IN ALL ASPECTS OF SET OUT, SURVEY & LEVEL, TEMPORARY WORKS COORDINATION
* STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND ABILITY TO WORK ON OWN INITIATIVE
* THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER AND DATABASE APPLICATIONS SUCH AS MICROSOFT OFFICE AND PROJECT/POWERPOINT
