With 80% revenue growth in the past 4 years, the business is currently in a new growth cycle, and it's an interesting time to join.They are always looking at new business models and acquisitions; as such, a role like this will suit someone who is curious, open-minded, and technically strong as an accountant. You will need to understand potential conflicts, issues, pros and cons with any new systems, automation, acquisition and the flow through finance. The role will be ad hoc and offer variety.You will report to and liaise closely with the CFO, executives and the board.Work closely with 4 Heads of FinanceSome examples of the work done historically and to be done currently and in the future:Manage the restricted cash, use models to work out balancesCashflow forecastingScenario analysisBudgeting for future yearsReviewing the weekly movementsReviewing all IT costs and Office costsLooking at staff incentivesMonthly bank reporting packsESGVariable and fixed costs - Including staff costsBusiness partner - with senior stakeholdersImpairment reviewsInvestor and group reportingThis is not a typical finance role; the profile that will thrive:Working on their own initiativeGet stuck into the detail (models, controls, etc) and offer perspectiveConfident in financial reporting skillsHas project management experienceHighly intelligent and energetic - Will be challenged by the CFO and Board, so it will be a demanding roleThe role is a 12-month contract, but due to the business's growth, it should be considered similar to a permanent position.
