Job Summary:
As a Packaging Innovation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable packaging solutions across our organization. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in consumer packaging design, supply chain management, and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop effective packaging strategies to reduce environmental impact and improve brand image.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for packaging innovation and implement changes.
* Provide technical expertise on packaging materials, suppliers, and regulations.
* Support the development of enterprise-wide packaging targets and implement corresponding solutions.
* Drive consistency in packaging design and standards across product ranges.
* Partner with suppliers to explore new packaging technologies and materials.
* Lead the implementation of circular economy principles in packaging.
* Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal teams, and senior management.
* Contribute to the development of systems and reporting to track and monitor progress of packaging initiatives.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Packaging Technologist or similar role in a large multinational business.
* Deep expertise in consumer packaging design, supply chain management, and team collaboration.
* Strong knowledge of packaging regulations, compliance requirements, and sustainability best practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to drive change in complex matrix organizations.
* Strong business acumen, with ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to travel as required (> 20%).
