Mechanical Supervisor European Projects We are representing a leading specialist Irish engineering contractor that manages complex mechanical, piping, and fabrication projects across Europe. We require a highly experienced and mobile Mechanical Supervisor to take charge of site operations on long-term European assignments. This is a demanding site leadership role for a safety-focused individual capable of driving large-scale, high-quality mechanical installations to schedule. Core Responsibilities The Supervisor will lead mechanical teams and manage all installation activities on European project sites. Site Leadership: Directly supervise, mentor, and coordinate mechanical teams, labourers, and subcontractors to ensure maximum productivity. Installation Management: Oversee and direct all mechanical installations, including pipework (Piping), HVAC systems, and plant equipment. Quality & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to specifications, engineering drawings (P&IDs, isometrics), and international quality standards. Piping Expertise: Manage specialised piping activities, including fabrication, welding, hydrotesting, and flushing, with specific knowledge of stainless steel. HSE Focus: Champion site safety, ensuring strict adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, conducting toolbox talks and site reporting. Candidate Profile & CompensationEssential Criteria Minimum of 5 years of mechanical/piping experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role on large industrial projects. High Mobility: Must be willing and able to travel and commit to long-term project assignments across Europe. Relevant Trade Qualification (e.g., Pipefitting, Plumbing) or Technical Certification. Proven ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and lead large, diverse teams. Experience in high-spec sectors (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Data Centre) is highly valued. Compensation Salary: €75,000 - €85,000 per annum (Negotiable, depending on project experience and expertise) Location: Based in Cork, with regular deployment to project sites across Europe.
