The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Engineer to join our precision engineering sales team in the mid-west region. The successful candidate will cover a broad remit and engage proactively with existing client bases, primarily in the pharma, food/agri-food, and environmental sectors, as well as develop new business opportunities for the company.

Main Responsibilities:
">
">
* Manage key client relationships to promote sustained growth
">
* Identify customer requirements and prepare complex sales tenders and RFQ proposals
">
* Consult with technical specialists and oversee projects from concept to completion
">
* SOURCE NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH TARGETED NETWORKING ACTIVITIES
">
* Deliver accurate sales KPI reports to leadership teams and stay current with market and industry trends in your area
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
To be successful in this role, you will require:
">
A 3rd Level Degree in a Relevant Engineering Discipline
">
A minimum of 4 years relevant technical or engineering focused sales experience is desired, although qualified engineers without prior sales experience may also be considered.
">
Key Skills and Abilities:
">

* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients on technical as well as commercial matters
">
* Excellent attention to detail and IT skills
">
* Proven ability to work on your own initiative and deliver on sales projects
">
* Full and clean driving license
">

Benefits:
">
This position offers a competitive salary and total package that reflects your skills and experience. You can expect a base salary of approximately €65k plus bonus and other incentives, expenses, and allowances. This position will be primarily based in Limerick city but will require some level of travel on occasion.
