We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team, contributing to the successful delivery of wastewater treatment plant projects. The role involves designing, overseeing construction, commissioning, and ensuring smooth handover of electrical systems across various sites. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project excellence from conception to completion.Key Responsibilities:Design and specify electrical systems for new and existing wastewater treatment facilities, including upgrades and expansions.Develop load schedules, control philosophies, system architectures, electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, cable schedules, commissioning plans, and equipment specifications.Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and process engineering teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall plant designs.Review electrical schematics, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams to support troubleshooting and system integration efforts.Perform cable sizing calculations to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.Prepare and submit electrical documentation for approvals; respond to client queries and comments effectively.Conduct site surveys to assess existing electrical equipment and installations.Source and procure electrical equipment required for projects.Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical panels, motors, MCCs, VSDs, lighting systems, and instrumentation.Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and project specifications.Candidate Profile:Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in electrical design and project delivery within the water/wastewater sector or similar industries.Strong commitment to safety in all tasks.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in LV electrical systems and control systems.Good understanding of instrumentation and automation systems.Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or related engineering discipline.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities.Join our team and contribute to vital infrastructure projects that support sustainable water management across Ireland.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €35,198.67-€76,260.89 per yearWork Location: In person
