Contracts Manager

Roles & Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of project contracts, ensuring compliance with legal, commercial, and technical obligations.
Lead projects from planning through execution, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Embed digital construction tools (Procore, MS Project, BIM workflows) throughout the project lifecycle.
Uphold best practices in Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance.
Chair meetings and report to directors on progress and risk mitigation.
Monitor project performance and initiate corrective actions where necessary.
Assist with bid decisions, recruitment and team development, pre‑qualification, tender processes, and coordinate internal and external teams.
Attend client, design, and management meetings as Senior McKeon Group Representative and maintain client relationships.
Conduct ongoing cost and performance reviews in collaboration with construction and commercial directors and provide operational and contractual reporting to company directors.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications Required
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
Minimum 7‑10 years of senior contracts or project management experience with a main contractor.
Proven ability to deliver high‑quality medium to large‑scale projects safely and on time across multiple sectors.
Expertise in contract administration and management, standard forms of contracts, claims, dispute resolution.
Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Strong ability to collaborate with design teams, subcontractors and clients.
High attention to detail, problem‑solving, and effective communication.
Technical & Digital Skills
Strong capability in digital construction technologies and modern project delivery methods.
Advanced experience with Procore, BIM coordination tools, cloud‑based document control and data‑driven project reporting.
Knowledge of 4D/5D planning, digital twins, and real‑time dashboards.
Proven ability to drive digital adoption across teams and subcontractors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Mentoring & Team Development
Provide leadership and guidance to junior and mid‑level project employees.
Act as mentor and coach, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and high performance.
Support succession planning and encourage open communication.
Other Competencies
Experience in live/occupied environments.
Experience in Design & Build and/or fast‑track fit‑out projects.
Experience in lean construction principles.
