About Your New Role as a Junior Project Manager
Assist in managing civil projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and budget adherence. Coordinate with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in project planning, scheduling, and obtaining permits.
* Support budget management and cost tracking.
* Conduct site inspections, ensuring quality and safety.
* Maintain client communication and manage expectations.
* Help identify and mitigate project risks.
* Prepare project documentation and progress reports.
* Support the construction contracts manager with all technical activities during all stages of construction from pre-work to post-work.
* Assist with planning, scheduling, resourcing, and forecasting technical activities.
* Liaise with clients on expectations and provide project updates.
* Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors on site.
* Assist with all documentation, from labour timesheets, supplier documents, H&S, and Quality paperwork.
What Skills You Need
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
* 1-3 years of experience in the construction industry.
* Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, etc.).
