Your impact As an Associate Site Reliability Engineer at OpenText, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for supporting the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based services.
This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to learn how large-scale systems operate in real-world environments.
You will gain hands-on experience with automation, monitoring, and incident response while working closely with experienced engineers to help deliver reliable and resilient services to our global customers.
What the role offers Opportunity to learn how to design, implement, and operate monitoring and alerting solutions for cloud services Hands-on exposure to incident response processes, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices Collaboration with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and operations Guided experience working with runbooks, automation workflows, and SRE best practices Exposure to modern cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) A supportive environment focused on learning, mentorship, and career growth within a fast-growing cloud engineering team What you need to succeed A foundational understanding of Linux systems and basic scripting (Python, Shell, or similar) Familiarity with monitoring, logging, or observability tools (academic, internship, or project experience is welcome) Basic knowledge of cloud concepts and interest in working with GCP, AWS, or Azure Exposure to CI/CD concepts and version control systems (e.g., Git) Understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases through coursework or projects Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate effectively within a team Basic understanding of microservices, REST APIs, or middleware technologies gained through studies or hands-on projects One last thing OpenText is more than just a corporation; it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
