Job Description:
GALRO provides professional clinical support services to vulnerable children and adults with intellectual disabilities or autism. Our range of services are designed, developed, and structured based on an individual’s diagnosis, presentation, and current life experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide emotional support and personal care to service users. Liaise professionally with significant people in the service user's life. Support and encourage service users to learn new skills. Assist service users in achieving their goals and aspirations. Arrange and engage in age-appropriate activities. Attend scheduled activities and medical appointments. Complete key working sessions. Liaise with clinicians and supervise service users according to their support requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Hold a Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support/Social Studies.
* Be empathetic and willing to learn.
* Have the ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures.
