EHS Manager - Major Construction Project Salary circa €110k-€120k+ Great benefits package Excellent career prospects 4yr project We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join a major construction project.
Reporting to the EHS Lead, this role is central to ensuring all works are delivered in compliance with the Safety Management System and in accordance with statutory legislation and best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities Oversee project compliance with the Safety Management System Develop and maintain Construction Stage Health & Safety Plans Prepare and analyse H&S performance reports and metrics for management review Keep senior management informed of ongoing H&S initiatives, performance, and progress Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS statutory provisions and legislation Implement and maintain PSCS Environmental, Health & Safety Plans Oversee and support the development of method statements, risk assessments, Safe Plans of Action (SPA), and permit-to-work systems Monitor compliance with the Project Execution Plan and associated safety standards Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the project and wider business Manage C.

assessments and ensure control measures are implemented effectively Ensure safety observations, interventions, and corrective actions are recorded and closed out Conduct regular site inspections and audits, documenting findings and driving corrective actions to completion Maintain accurate records of statutory inspections and documentation Proactively identify and mitigate project EHS risks Ensure subcontractor compliance with project EHS policies and procedures Coordinate and manage EHS induction and training programmes for all site personnel Ensure appropriate PPE resources are available and maintained Lead or assist in incident and accident investigations, ensuring timely reporting to the project management team Skills & Qualifications Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline Minimum 5 years' experience managing EHS on large-scale construction projects Strong knowledge of current Irish and EU Health & Safety legislation Proven ability to manage all EHS aspects of a complex construction site Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Strong proficiency in MS Office and EHS reporting systems Ability to work on own initiative while fostering collaboration across teams and subcontractors Flexible approach to working patterns and changing project priorities Committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental performance What's on Offer Opportunity to work on a landmark construction project Supportive career development Competitive salary package Collaborative team environment Strong pipeline of project grow Skills: AP Crane Appointed Person Lift Plans Logistics Benefits: pension bonus
