Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to lead our project team in delivering high-quality residential projects. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and technical skills, with the ability to motivate staff and ensure projects are completed on time and to budget.
About the Role
- Set out and check works as required for the project, ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning and construction of the project.
- Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
- Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to ensure productivity levels on site are high.
- Supervise works.
Key Requirements
- A Degree in Engineering or related discipline is essential for this role.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior role with a main contractor is required.
- Ability to use setting out instruments is crucial and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination is also necessary.
- Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint is also required.
