Description:
The role of a Market Analyst involves supporting the trading operations team in ensuring efficient market activities and successful delivery of key projects.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Assist in day-to-day market analysis, including data provision and report writing to support traders and strategies aimed at maximising commercial returns for a diverse portfolio.
2. Support the trading operations team in impact assessments and preparations for future market changes.
3. Maintain and develop models used by the trading operations team, including market price forecasting models and system operation models.
4. Document processes and procedures to support business continuity and best practice.
5. Build and cultivate productive working relationships externally with industry groups and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a third-level degree with a high level of numerical and analytical content, experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, SQL, and Python, and skills in Power System Operations and Renewable Energy Systems.
Requirements:
A third-level degree is essential, with a strong focus on numerical and analytical subjects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, SQL, and Python, is required. Experience in Power System Operations and Renewable Energy Systems is highly desirable.
