Our client is seeking a talented Chief Risk Officer to join their Ireland-based investment firm. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust risk frameworks are implemented and maintained across their operations, including investment and operational risk, IT and cyber security risk oversight, and financial resilience.
The Chief Risk Officer will play a crucial role in delivering insights and reporting to the Board of Directors while collaborating with global and regional risk teams.

Responsibilities
Serve as the PCF-14 Chief Risk Officer, subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval, and oversee the firm's risk management framework.
Deliver risk analysis, reporting, and insights to the Board of Directors, ensuring risk identification, assessment, and remediation.
Lead the Internal Capital Adequacy and Risk Assessment Process (ICARAP) and Operational Resilience Self-Assessment (ORSA).
Oversee IT and cyber risk frameworks, including compliance with EU DORA, and support the firm's Cyber and Operational Resilience frameworks.
Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure regulatory changes are embedded successfully, including updates to Irish and European risk regulations.
Requirements
At least 5 years of managerial experience in risk management disciplines, including operational risk and resilience.
Proven ability to implement risk management policies, procedures, systems, and reporting frameworks.
Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating clarity and accuracy in delivering risk reports to senior management and boards.
Experience in delivering risk oversight frameworks and collaborating on projects with global risk teams.
Preferred qualifications include certifications in risk management, investment management, or related disciplines.
