Operations Manager Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and hands-on Operations Manager to join a busy 66-bedroom property with a team of 60+ staff.
This is a full-time position (45 hours/week, 5 over 7 days including weekends and public holidays).
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all departments.
* Work with the Operations Director on performance metrics, targets, and strategic planning.
* Lead and motivate departmental managers and staff, supporting training and development.
* Drive sales initiatives in collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, and company standards.
* Deliver exceptional guest experience at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 2–3 years' experience as an Operations Manager in a busy 3*/4* hotel.
* Strong knowledge of food & beverage, sales/events, and hotel systems.
* Proven track record in people management and achieving operational goals.
* Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
