About the Job
You will be responsible for maintaining a large book of business as well as developing and growing an existing commercial insurance client portfolio. The role requires delivering significant account growth while operating in a fully compliant environment.
You will be provided with some prospects to start; however, this role is suited to a positive and proactive self-starter willing to build their account from lead generation through to closing the sale. Hard work, determination, and commitment are essential for success in this role.
Your Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly new business and renewal targets.
- Proactively build your sales pipeline.
- Become an expert in your target area.
- Develop niche knowledge in new business sectors.
Skills / Knowledge
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge.
- Outstanding customer service skills to foster customer loyalty.
- Ability to network and build relationships.
- Proactive approach to account management.
- Market and competitor insight focus.
- Excellent presentation skills and confidence in presenting at boardroom level.
Qualifications And Experience
- APA Commercial, CIP, or ACII qualification.
- At least 2 years' commercial/customer service insurance experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Relay & Excel is an advantage.
