We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to support children and adults with disabilities and complex needs in Meath and surrounding community.**The Role**Support clients in their homes and communities, helping them live independently, safely, and with dignity. This is a varied and rewarding role working with a range of care needs.**Key Responsibilities*** Support daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, shopping)* Assist individuals with disabilities and complex needs* Prompt medication in line with care plans* Promote independence, wellbeing, and community engagement* Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans**Core Skills & Competencies*** Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)* Patience and empathy* Ability to build trust with children and families* Observation and reporting skills* Ability to manage challenging behaviours calmly**Practical Skills**Depending on the role, you may need:* Personal care skills (feeding, dressing, toileting)* Knowledge of assistive equipment (e.g. wheelchairs, hoists)* Supporting communication methods (e.g. visual aids, PECS)* Supporting routines and structured activities**Working Hours*** 37.5 hours per week (guaranteed)* Shifts between 8:00am – 9:00pm* 4 long days (8am - 9pm OR up to 6 shorter days (8am - 5pm) per week as required* Every second weekend* Weekly rosters provided**Benefits*** Fuel card* Discounted health insurance* Increasing annual leave with service* Your birthday off!* Plus additional benefits and supports**Requirements*** Minimum QQI Level 5 or higher (Healthcare, Social Care, ECCE) **OR** QQI Level 6 SNA* Full EU driving licence and access to a vehicle* Flexible and reliable* Strong communication skills* Experience in care is essential**Apply Now**If you are passionate about care and want to make a meaningful difference, we would love to hear from you.INDOFFICE
