Student Ambassador
Job Summary
We have a hybrid work model that enables staff members to split their time between office and home. This hybrid model provides the advantage of having both in-person time with colleagues and flexible at-home life optimizations.
The Student Ambassador position requires a commitment of approximately 5 hours per week to perform the following tasks:
- Explore and implement creative ideas for spreading awareness among students.
- Identify and engage with prominent student organizations related to Engineering, Math, Science, and Finance.
- Plan and organize events on campus to demonstrate state-of-the-art technology.
- Use communication channels to spread awareness about available resources and challenges.
- Promote presence at university career fairs and information sessions.
Responsibilities
The Student Ambassador is expected to:
- Host events to demonstrate technology and provide resources to spread awareness of products such as software demos and hardware tools.
- Share articles on social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter by leveraging your social media skills.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's level degree.
Additional Qualifications
- Proficient in MATLAB, familiarity with Simulink a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogging, etc.).
- Undergraduate or Graduate student in good academic standing with at least 2 semesters remaining in the degree program preferably in Engineering.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
- Legal authorization to work in Ireland.
