The continued development of recovery-oriented services is a key priority of Mental Health Services through the implementation of the national mental health policies 'Sharing the Vision" and the "National Framework for Recovery in Mental Health". HSE Dublin North and East Region Healthcare region are committed to the development of comprehensive recovery-oriented services. In collaboration with the Area Lead for Mental Health Engagement and or other MHER and the service improvement function for Mental Health in the region, the Recovery Co-ordinator will support services to embed the principles of recovery across Mental Health Services. Their work will focus on the centrality of the service user experience, co-production and co-education, driving organisational commitment and further embedding recovering learning and practice within the services in accordance with Sharing the Vision and the National Framework for Recovery. The Recovery Co-ordinator will play a key role in the development of the regional Community Healthcare strategy and implementation plan for the design and delivery of recovery-oriented services, plan for the design and delivery of recovery-oriented services supported by and reporting to the Executive Management Team.






Essential Criteria




This campaign is internal to staff who are currently employed by the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies*, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 and Section 39 of the Health Act 2004 as per Workplace Relations Commission agreement

Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.

a) Eligible applicants will be those who on the closing date for the competition have:

* Have satisfactory experience in an office under the HSE, TUSLA, other statutory health agencies, or a body which provides services on behalf of the HSE under Section 38 or 39 of the Health Act 2004 at a level not lower than that of Grade IV (or equivalent).

AND

* Have a relevant qualification in a health-related field at or above Level 7 on the QQI Framework.

AND

* Have not less than two years' work experience of leading project design and delivery in a relevant field.

AND

b) Candidatesmust possess the requisite knowledge and ability particularly in relation to developing services through recovery approach and stakeholder engagement, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.

Health

A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

Character

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
