Job DescriptionDue to ongoing expansion within Carron + Walsh we are looking for suitable candidates with a mix of Public and Private sector project experience for the positions of Senior Quantity Surveyor in our Dublin and Waterford offices.
The successful Candidates will undertake Quantity Surveying duties independently whilst reporting to our Management Team in the deliveryof these projects.
Typical duties may include:
Preparation of Development Budgets and Feasibility AppraisalsImplementation of Value EngineeringPreparation of tender documentation including Bills of QuantitiesAnalysis of tender returnsPreparation of contract documents and administration of Building & Civil Engineering Conditions of ContractOperation of Carron + Walsh Cost Management SystemCompliance with Carron + Walsh ISO Certified Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management SystemsPreparing Payment RecommendationsAgreement of Compensation CostsManaging support staffThe ideal candidates would have the following qualifications and traits:
Chartered or working towards chartership, with a B.Sc.
in Quantity Surveying5 to 10 years post qualification experience (PQS preferred)Ability to work proactively within project teamsCommercially and contractually focusedAn attractive package is available for the right candidate, coupled with an opportunity to grow within the Practice, facilitated by our career progression model.
