OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Setting Out Engineer to join a well-established construction company delivering projects across Meath and the wider Leinster region.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to gain hands-on experience on high-quality projects while working closely with experienced site teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out accurate setting out of works in accordance with drawings and specificationsUse surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS) to ensure precision on siteInterpret drawings and ensure works are delivered to design requirementsSupport the Site Manager and Project Manager with daily site operationsMonitor and check works to ensure quality and complianceMaintain site records, including as-built drawings and QA documentationCoordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth workflowAssist with resolving technical issues on siteRequirementsDegree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline1-4+ years\' experience in a Setting Out / Site Engineer roleExperience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projectsStrong understanding of setting out techniques and equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsGood communication and organisational skillsExperience working with a main contractorFamiliarity with GPS and Total Station equipment (e.g. Leica, Trimble)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityPackageCompetitive salary (DOE)Company vehicle or travel allowanceStrong pipeline of local projects (Meath / Leinster-based)Excellent opportunity for progression to Senior Engineer levelWhy Apply?Join a reputable contractor with steady growthWork on a variety of quality projectsGain strong site experience and career developmentExcellent work-life balance with projects based locally
