Afterschool Worker - The Liberties Community Project
The Liberties Community Project (SICCDA) is seeking an Afterschool Worker to support children in Dublin 8.
Responsibilities
* Create a positive approach to children, encouraging confidence and self‑esteem.
* Communicate calmly and effectively with children.
* Assist children with homework.
* Prepare food for children.
* Set simple, clear limits and boundaries for children and enforce them.
* Support Team Leaders and other team members.
* Organise activities for the children.
* Clean and maintain a high‑standard afterschool environment.
* Participate in training relevant to the role.
* Adhere to health and safety and child protection procedures.
Training & Vetting
Accredited training will be provided, including QQI Childcare Training.
Garda vetting is required.
