Senior Employment Solicitor
We are seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor to join a leading international law firm’s growing Dublin team. This is an opportunity for an experienced employment lawyer to work on complex, strategic and business-critical matters within a highly respected international platform.
The Team
The Employment practice is led by a partner with significant international experience advising domestic and multinational organisations on complex workforce and strategic employment issues.
Workforce restructurings and collective redundancies
TUPE transfers, particularly in the context of M&A
Executive exits and senior-level negotiations
Sensitive internal investigations
Employment litigation including unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing
Immigration & mobility matters
Employment-related pensions advisory
The approach is pragmatic, commercially driven and aligned to broader business strategy. Clients include multinational corporates and scaling businesses navigating high-pressure and transformational change.
The Role
This senior position offers significant responsibility and client exposure.
Advise on complex advisory and contentious employment matters
Lead elements of large-scale restructuring projects
Support corporate transactions from an employment perspective
Work directly with senior HR teams, executives and boards
Manage disputes before the WRC and Labour Court
Play a key role in mentoring more junior team members
The Person
Key qualifications and attributes include:
Qualified solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE in employment law
Strong experience across both advisory and contentious matters
Demonstrated commercial awareness and strategic thinking
Confidence advising senior stakeholders
Strong drafting, negotiation and organisational skills
International or transactional exposure would be advantageous but not essential.
