Job Overview
Join Britvic Ireland in this dynamic senior leadership role that combines strategic oversight of Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) and Facilities & Estates management across our operations.
This pivotal position ensures compliance, safety, sustainability, and operational excellence while fostering a proactive safety culture and delivering exceptional services to all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated HSE and Facilities strategies aligned with business goals while ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and internal policies
Lead strategic planning for facilities and estates management, overseeing maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and infrastructure development across all sites
Manage comprehensive HSE programs including risk assessments, audits, inspections, and incident investigations to maintain the highest safety standards
Lead and develop cross-functional teams across HSE and Facilities, including Security, Catering, and Hygiene Teams, providing guidance and development opportunities
Oversee budget management for all facilities and estates operations, ensuring effective resource utilization, accurate contractor invoicing, and value-driven procurement
Champion a positive safety culture through leadership, training initiatives, and stakeholder engagement across all organizational levels
Manage key service contracts including Security, Catering, Cleaning, and Waste Management to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Requirements
Minimum 10 years' experience in Health, Safety and Estates management with demonstrated success in budget management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement
Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end FMCG or Pharmaceutical operations with proven expertise in conducting multi-domain audits (Risk Assessments, QSE, Security)
Demonstrated ability to manage complex facilities projects including refurbishments, renovations, and new construction initiatives
Extensive knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, building regulations, fire safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, procurement, and contractor relationship management
Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and driving organizational change
Experience with CAFM software, energy management systems, and sustainable facilities practices

Education/Qualifications
Third-level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Building Services, Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering)
Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facility Manager), PMP (Project Management Professional), or CEng (Chartered Engineer)
Advanced training in health and safety management, risk assessment, and environmental compliance
Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies and best practices
Proficiency with facilities management software, building management systems, and relevant technology platforms
