JOB DESCRIPTION
Bluebird Care is a trusted care provider delivering high-quality, person-centred support. We are currently recruiting compassionate Social Care Workers to join our dedicated team in Kerry, West Cork and Sligo.
Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care, meal preparation, toileting, moving and transferring
* Support clients with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and high dependency needs
* Supervise medication and assist with light housework/basic shopping
* Offer emotional and social support
* Collaborate with the care team and monitor client progress
* Report and record any incidents
* Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
Requirements:
* Degree level 7/8 in Social Care, Social Studies, or related discipline
* Registered or eligible for registration with CORU
* Full clean driving license and access to own transport
* Knowledge of New Directions Services and Supports for adults with disabilities is advantageous
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
* Fluent English, written and spoken
* Flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances and shift patterns
* Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
