New Year- New Start!! We are recruiting for Senior Conductors to join CrossCountry at Birmingham New Street in January 2026 and throughout the year.

Role and Responsibilities
* Senior Conductors are the face of CrossCountry and work to ensure every journey is a great experience for customers.
* Check and sell tickets on board services, advise customers about their journey, and communicate with individuals and groups while being aware of their needs.
* Deal with the unexpected in a calm but confident way and fix or report defective equipment; manage luggage issues as required.
* Contribute to maintaining a comfortable train environment and support safety procedures as part of the team.
Training and Safety
* Safety is a priority; you will be trained on all procedures, rules and regulations and may lead in critical situations.
* The initial training course lasts 10 weeks at the Customer Service Training Centre in Derby, covering all aspects of the role.

* Average hours are 37 per week.
Working Pattern
This is not a 9 to 5 role; there are shifts and some weekends. Time off during the week is available as part of the rotating schedule.
Requirements
* Senior Conductor positions are safety critical and require a safety critical medical and a DBS check.
