Our client, a leader in food production, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Lead to join their team. Your Key Responsibilities Lead EHS Operations: Oversee the day-to-day EHS activities, ensuring a proactive approach to safety. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and address potential hazards. Accident Investigations: Investigate accidents and implement corrective actions. Safety Training & Compliance: Coordinate safety training and ensure regulatory compliance across the site. External Audits: Prepare for and support safety audits and inspections. Team Leadership: Manage and support a small team, fostering a safety-first culture. What We Are Looking For: Level 8 qualification in Health & Safety or related field. 1-3 years' experience in a manufacturing or high-risk environment. Proven team management experience with the ability to lead and drive results. Manual Handling Instructor, Train the Trainer, and Occupational First Aid certifications are desirable. Strong communication skills to engage with all levels of the organisation. A proactive attitude and the ability to take immediate ownership of safety initiatives. Why Join Our Client?
