The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting mineral exploration and/or operational mining activities through geological mapping, core logging, data analysis, and fieldwork. This is a hands‑on role requiring both office and site‑based work.Key Responsibilities:Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and interpretation in exploration or operational mining environmentsPerform core logging and geotechnical analysisAssist with drill program planning, supervision, and reportingCollect, manage, and interpret geological and assay data using modern GIS and 3D modelling softwarePrepare geological models, cross‑sections, and technical reportsContribute to resource estimation processes in collaboration with senior technical staffEnsure compliance with environmental, health & safety regulations and internal policiesLiaise with contractors, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholdersSupport the company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiativesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related discipline (Master’s preferred)2+ years of experience in mining or exploration geology (graduate applicants with relevant field experience also considered)Familiarity with drilling operations, sampling protocols, and geological loggingProficiency with GIS, 3D geological modelling software (e.g. Leapfrog, Surpac, ArcGIS)Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skillsWillingness to travel and work in the field, including occasional overnight staysFull clean driving licence (essential)Knowledge of Irish geology and mineral potential is an advantage
