Pharmacy Technician
The role of a pharmacy technician involves supporting the managing pharmacist in a busy and challenging environment, maintaining the highest ethical standards and delivering excellent customer care.
Key responsibilities include receiving, recording and assembling prescriptions accurately, notifying pharmacists of any changes in drug therapy and potential interactions between medications.
Customer service is also an essential part of the role, dispensing over-the-counter medicines and other pharmacy products as needed.
Additionally, pharmacy technicians are responsible for handling specific over-the-counter medicine requests using the WWHAM questioning technique and making suitable recommendations consulting the pharmacist when necessary.
Maintaining the smooth operation of the dispensary is also crucial, including computer record-keeping and up-to-date paperwork in compliance with company protocols.
Requirements:
* Completion of IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.

A maternity contract position offering 40 hours per week in a dynamic team environment.
