Wine Service Expert
About the Role:
* Maintain optimal wine stock levels, ensure proper rotation, and uphold cellar cleanliness and organisation.
* Work closely with procurement teams to secure timely and cost-effective wine orders for daily service and events.
* Prioritise expert wine service across all outlets with a focus on bespoke pairings and guest engagement.
Sales Strategy & Innovation:
* Evaluate the wine list continuously to keep it exciting, balanced, and aligned with our culinary vision.
* Monitor trends and collaborate with chefs and F&B teams to create dynamic wine and beverage pairings.
Leadership & Team Development:
* Lead, mentor, and motivate sommeliers and service staff to consistently deliver exceptional standards.
* Foster a team culture centred on service excellence, product knowledge, and attention to detail.
Operational Excellence:
* Oversee cellar organisation and adhere to standard operating procedures around requisitions, procurement, stock control, and loss prevention.
* Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations in beverage storage and service areas.
