Details:
Working as part of the Order Fulfillment team in the EMEA region supporting the Pharma Business. You will be responsible for processing and coordinating export shipments out of our warehouses consistent with regulatory requirements for the movement of both material and information.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Create and follow-up on deliveries/shipments from all order types, including intercompany stock transfer and samples when required, up to customs clearance and delivery to the customer.
2. Perform batch allocation to orders according to warehouse instructions or agreed specials from inventory; develop labels and packing instructions for the warehouse as needed.
3. Organize specific transport needs such as product returns, shipments between customers for non-divisional products, or for semi-finish products or raw materials.
4. Proactively liaise with cross-functional groups (Customer Service, Supply Chain/Warehouses, Quality, Planners, Freight Forwarders) to ensure timely shipment of orders to meet customer delivery promises.
5. Manage customer logistics requirements via Customer Service and other internal departments, follow up with necessary actions to resolve issues, and provide excellent service levels to both internal and external customers.
6. Facilitate rush order preparation as needed.
Experience:
* Certificate or training in Logistics & Supply Chain.
* 2-4 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain-related roles.
* Computer skills including MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:
* Knowledge of local and international trade, import and export regulations is desirable.
The Logistics Supervisor is responsible for managing the onsite logistics function. This hands-on supervisory role focuses on driving productivity, efficiency, compliance, and fostering high motivation and engagement within the logistics team.
