This large accommodation provider is seeking a Reception Manager to oversee front-of-house operations across a multi-site residence. This role will ensure a smooth, professional guest experience for both long-term residents and short-stay visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Front Desk Management: Lead day-to-day reception services, including check-in/out, guest communications, and adapting procedures between academic and summer seasons.
* Customer Service: Deliver an exceptional experience for a diverse audience. Handle escalated queries and implement feedback-driven improvements.
* Seasonal Operations: Prepare for and support summer operations, including onboarding staff and coordinating with group and event teams.
* Team Leadership: Recruit, train and schedule reception and seasonal staff, ensuring strong coverage during peak times.
* Systems & Compliance: Maintain accurate records using booking systems, ensure GDPR and safety compliance, and liaise with internal teams for system and facilities support.
Candidate Requirements:
* 3+ years’ experience in front-of-house or customer service management, ie Reception / Front Office Manager in large hotels or serviced apartments
* Qualification in Hospitality, Business or Tourism an advantage
* Evening and weekend availability required, especially during peak summer season
* Proven ability to manage seasonal teams and adjust to varying guest needs
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Confident with reception systems and guest issue resolution
* Familiarity with youth, group or language travel segments an advantage
