Due to continuous expansion, Tritech Group are seeking a permanent Electrical Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the site from initiation to completion. This candidate will report directly to the Group Electrical Director.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating with clients, contractors, estimators, quantity surveyors, sub-contractors, engineers, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure that all tasks are completed according to plans and scheduling criteria.
Communicating with clients to keep them informed of project status and potential issues.
Planning and management of personnel on site and tracking and reporting on progress and production/output levels.
Carry out the necessary design reviews to ensure that installations are fit for purpose. Complete VE process in conjunction with Engineering team.
Oversee the contracting process with chosen sub-contractors and ensure all works are carried out correctly and as per contract and specification.
Manage and report all project financial elements in conjunction with the commercial department. Close out project successfully and to budgeted profit levels.
Managing the bidding process for projects to ensure that they adhere to company standards.
Ensuring that all work complies with relevant codes and practices.
Attend all projects related and management meetings. Host and record internal project team reviews/meetings and review with Ops Director.
Carry out surveys of installations and report accordingly.
Ensure that inspection, testing, commissioning and witnessing plans are designed and implemented in line with project specific requirements.
Preparing detailed project plans and schedules for follow-up.
Evaluate overall project performance on a regular basis to provide confidence that the project will satisfy the relevant quality standards.
Procurement of subcontract, plant and materials in conjunction with the procurement department. Take full responsibility for achieving commercial buying targets.
Ensure subcontract/plant scopes are prepared to ensure that there are no grey areas in the package and to ensure that risks are offset.
Liaise with client & management team on an ongoing basis to ensure scope of works is delivered & shareholder requirements are met.
Issue management and reports to clients with project progress and attend management project review meetings.
Be responsible for implementing Tritech Group Health and Safety Procedures, and reporting to the Company's Head of Health and Safety as required.
Familiar with Modern Methods of Construction, Lean construction and sustainable/ environmentally friendly installation solutions.
Background, experience & skills
Relevant third level qualification in Building Services Engineering or similar qualification.
Minimum 5+ years' experience in a contracting environment essential.
Proven ability of managing and delivering large projects.
Good Leadership Skills to motivate and direct a team.
Excellent IT and Technical Skills.
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Package Will be in line with qualifications and experience.
