Job Title: Senior Chef de Partie
Reports to: Head Chef/Kitchen Manager
Location: The Woodford Kitchen.
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
As a key member of our culinary staff, you'll be responsible for food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety.
You'll work collaboratively with our team while also being able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare high-quality dishes to exacting standards, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Timekeeping: Ensure punctuality and reliability, meeting service demands and deadlines.
HACCP and Allergies: Demonstrate knowledge of HACCP principles and allergen management, implementing procedures to ensure food safety.
Team Player: Collaborate with kitchen staff to achieve service goals, providing support and guidance when needed.
Independence: Work effectively with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent role
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
HACCP certification (or willingness to obtain)
Understanding of allergen management and food safety protocols
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
